TypeSmart crashes after the applause is heard, requiring a computer reboot.
This is a known hardware sound card incompatibility problem with
less than 1% of sound cards. TypeSmart is compatible with
‘SoundBlaster’ compatible cards and 99% of cards are supposed to be
this.
However, we have discovered that typeSmart is not fully compatible
with sound cards in some computers, for example some Hewlett Packard
(HP) desktop computers. In these instances, after the applause at the
end of a Session or Fun Run, typeSmart shows an error message and will
not exit without a reboot.
Make sure the Sound or Sound Effects option is turned off in the
Euphonics Audio panel of the Options feature. The default for Sound
Effects in typeSmart version 3.3 is mute.
