I can't hear the sound effects.

Check typeSmart Options

In typeSmart the default is for Sound Effects to be turned off.

First go to typeSmart Options and select Euphonics, Audio. In the panel for Sound Effects (Applause), slide the knob to a suitable volume.

Reinstall might help

If the typeSmart options are turned on, and you have performed these basic sound checks and the Sound Effects are turned on in typeSmart, then please uninstall typeSmart, then reinstall it.
